About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides short-term counseling, assessment, and referrals for clients of the EAP
Conducts supervisor information and training sessions
Consults with supervisors, managers, and HR staff
Serves as a lead worker to other EAP Counselors
Develops individualized care plans for patients based on needs assessments
Provides support to patients to assist them in dealing with social, emotional, financial, and/or environmental factors
Provides short term individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, education, and skills training

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s in social work or related field
Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills
Excellent clinical skills in mental health and addictions treatment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ten or more years of experience
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) highly recommended
