About the role
- Supervises the UMB/state and FPI/practice financial payroll functions
- Evaluates the payroll related activities of the department
- Provides oversight of faculty and staff compensation and incentive calculations
- Mediates payroll related faculty/staff relations issues
- Performs and directs general accounting and financial reporting activities
- Reviews payroll procedures and makes recommendations to increase effectiveness and accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Three to five years related payroll experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently
