About the role
- Answers incoming patient phone calls and makes outgoing collection calls regarding balances due
- Resolves patient questions; contacts appropriate sources when necessary
- Conducts account investigation, follow-up and collections on self-pay balances; other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Three or more years of experience in a medical office directly related to Patient Services Department and Central Eligibility Team
