About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take the lead in day-to-day administration for a cross-section of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses within the School of Economics.
- Handle complex information accurately and provide proactive and comprehensive guidance relating to administrative procedures and policies to a range of audiences.
- Base the role within the School of Economics at 30 Buccleuch Place.
- Consider flexible working patterns, including hybrid working.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Vocational qualifications (N/SVQ 3, ONC or equivalent) plus work experience in a relevant role; or School education to standard grade or equivalent plus relevant work experience.
- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Office particularly Excel as the role entails significant use of complex spreadsheets.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail in both written and figure work.
- Ability to plan and prioritise, work independently and also as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
