About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the accuracy of tuition fee data for prospective and on programme students by providing high quality support.
- Ensure monthly reconciliations are completed on tuition fee income from UK Government bodies and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Make required adjustments to tuition fee records or liaise with funding bodies to ensure accurate assessment of student funding.
- Ensure the creation and reporting of accurate records for sponsors and tuition fee debt coordinating with the Finance Department and other colleagues as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Good numeracy skills and basic knowledge of financial accounting principles.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and experience of working as part of a team in a customer focussed environment.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end reconciliation process.
- Analytical skills, including Microsoft Excel skills to create and analyse multiple data sources.
- Ability to work with large datasets accurately and efficiently.
- Experience of University of Edinburgh systems, including EUCLID/SITS/People and Money, is desirable.
