Senior Trial Manager – Global, Maternal Health

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The post holder will have a leading role in managing an international team of research staff embedded within the NIHR Global Health Research Unit on Global Surgery (the GSU) to deliver international cluster-randomised clinical trials in low resource settings.
- Provide strategic and operational management skills in the planning and execution of projects, focusing on maternal and neonatal health trials.
- Work on an exciting new global collaborative initiative using wearable sensors and data driven research approaches to improve maternal and foetal outcomes during labour.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in a relevant area
- Substantial experience in the delivery of complex clinical trials in maternal health, including compliance with all relevant governance processes.
- Extensive experience of delivering clinical trials in low resource settings.
- Experience in monitoring, analysing and dissemination complex information.
- Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team, including international and industry partners.
