About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative and event support to Access to High Demand Professions (AHDP)
  • Work on Access to Creative Education Scotland (ACES) Edinburgh as well as Reach Edinburgh
  • Contribute to supporting eligible school pupils with their application to Higher Education in high-demand subject areas
  • Support regular events, including the ACES Portfolio Preparation Programme

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Understanding of, and empathy for, the student groups targeted within Widening Participation programmes
  • Team player who strives to support colleagues as well as external audiences
  • Very good written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) check will also be required.
