About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • An opportunity has arisen to join the University of Edinburgh Human Resources Department.
  • We are looking for an organised individual to take accurate meeting notes to support formal HR investigations and hearing panels for case management, including grievance, disciplinary and appeals against dismissals.
  • This post is Guaranteed Hours (100 hours minimum per year).
  • It’s a hybrid role, requiring both working from home and on University campuses.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Flexibility.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, in writing and in person, exercising discretion and diplomacy, respect and confidentiality.
  • Organisation and strong time management skills.
  • Ideally, previous experience in note taking.
