About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Director of MBA Programs
- Provide academic advising for full-time and Executive MBA programs
- Manage curriculum and provide program/curriculum support
- Support student retention and student recruitment
- Coordinate events such as orientation and graduation parties
- Support MBA strategic initiatives
- Solve problems and proactively innovate for continuous program improvement
- Perform miscellaneous activities associated with designing and operating the Full-time and Executive MBA programs
- Work occasional Saturdays and evenings as needed
- Travel as required
- Maintain regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance
- Create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least three years of experience advising students
- Demonstrated record of building and maintaining positive working relationships with others
- Demonstrated record of proactive problem-solving
- Basic skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance
- Ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays and evenings as needed
- Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Successful completion of criminal background check and sex offender registry check
