About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the designated clinic, including patient care and clinic business processes
- Collect and document patient assessment data
- Develop patients' Plans of Care using assessment data
- Evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes
- Administer medication according to standards and the Nurse Practice Act
- Verify and evaluate care for consistency with patient- and family-centered care principles, practice standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support integration of current evidence into nursing practices
- Promote a positive educational environment for students and staff
- Provide patient/family education and discharge planning
- Collaborate and communicate with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and stakeholders
- Document care in the medical record
- Report variances in care, systems, and processes
- Participate in staff recruitment and retention
- Facilitate development and implementation of evidence-based nursing practice standards compliant with ANA standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Five years of experience in the field of Nursing
- At least three years of experience in a supervisory capacity
- Valid License as a Registered Nurse by the State of Arkansas
- License or Certificate required for application
