About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Pharmacy Specialist for Specialty Infusion is responsible and accountable for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy
- Provide direct patient centered care and integrated pharmacy operational services that optimize the patient care experience and drive organizational performance
- Coordinate clinical pharmacy services for UAMS Specialty Pharmacy Infusion Services to optimize therapeutic utilization, patient outcomes, and safety, while minimizing adverse events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy Degree, PGY1 residency training OR 3 years of applicable experience
- Certification as a Licensed Pharmacist by the State of Arkansas or eligible for licensure
- Preferred Qualifications: PharmD, 5 years applicable experience, Experience coordinating outpatient infusion therapy
