About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Pharmacy Specialist for Specialty Infusion is responsible and accountable for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy
  • Provide direct patient centered care and integrated pharmacy operational services that optimize the patient care experience and drive organizational performance
  • Coordinate clinical pharmacy services for UAMS Specialty Pharmacy Infusion Services to optimize therapeutic utilization, patient outcomes, and safety, while minimizing adverse events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy Degree, PGY1 residency training OR 3 years of applicable experience
  • Certification as a Licensed Pharmacist by the State of Arkansas or eligible for licensure
  • Preferred Qualifications: PharmD, 5 years applicable experience, Experience coordinating outpatient infusion therapy
