About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manages the IT procurement and inventory management function within the IT department
  • Maintains records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization’s hardware and software
  • Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking
  • Tracks quantity throughout the product lifecycle
  • Monitors effectively both on a daily basis and long-term IT asset portfolio
  • Maintains and issue Vocera devises, cellphones and Pagers
  • Remains up-to-date on emerging technologies that would benefit UAMS and complements UAMS’s mission/goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED with 3 years IT experience providing end user support or IT related experience -OR- Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field with 1 year IT experience providing end user support or IT related experience -OR- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related field with 3 years IT experience providing end user support or IT related experience -OR- Master Degree in Information Technology or related field with 1 years IT experience providing end user support or IT related experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related field of study
  • Customer Service experience
