About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide specialized care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures in a high-acuity academic medical center.
- Coordinate care for patients, triage patients, and work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff.
- Facilitate appointments, coordinate transitions of care, and provide patient education on complex conditions.
- Provide direct patient care in the Endoscopy lab, serving in the roles in the procedural space, Preop, and PACU.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
- Valid RN License.
- Minimum of one (1) year Registered Nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) or more years of nursing experience.
- Current BLS
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong work ethic and accountability.
