About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assemble supplies for surgical procedures
- Set up and maintain the sterile field
- Pass surgical instruments and assist in-room preparation
- Coordinate care for surgical cases alongside the surgeon, nurses, and team members to provide optimal patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School GED Plus a Graduate of a NBSTSA-accredited or a NCCT-approved Surgical Technology school/program, surgical/scrub tech training through the military, or a minimum of two years on-the-job training (OJT) surgical/scrub experience at an acute care facility or ambulatory surgery center.
- Ability to follow oral instruction, read, and write
- Scrub Tech Certification (Preferred)
- 1 year of Operating room experience (Preferred)
