About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct clinical services such as diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention to patients
- Work directly under the supervision of the Walker Family Clinic Clinical Therapist Supervisor
- Assist with the referral process, including reviewing referrals, educating providers on the internal referral process, assessing and confirming continuity of care for established patients, and assisting providers with external referrals
- Provide support to Walker Family Clinic Clinical Therapists
- Maintain community resource listing for internal customers, assist with internal transfers, train new employees, staff challenging cases, respond to clinic crisis calls and emergent needs onsite
- Understand mental health diagnosis and treatment
- Maintain a caseload, including contacting patients and discharging as appropriate
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and continuing education activities as needed to maintain quality provision and coordination of care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- At least 3 years of direct clinical behavioral health experience
- Licensed by Arkansas Professional Board - Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- 3 years of direct clinical outpatient behavioral health experience (Preferred)
- Evidence-based treatment background, trauma-informed care model (Preferred)
- Understanding of EPIC (Preferred)
