About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conducting procedures including electroencephalograms (EEG), nerve conduction studies, (NCS), EMGs and electronystagmograms (ENG), intraoperative monitoring, and clipping and archiving studies.
- Timely completion of daily patient testing.
- Accurate documentation and charges of patient testing.
- Physical maintenance of clinical testing equipment.
- Performing standard and complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures, including all aspects of EEG, multiple modalities of evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, quantitative sensory testing, and epilepsy monitoring.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates degree or High School Diploma/GED and two years’ experience in a health care setting for new hires.
- Registered Technologist or must be willing to become a Registered Technologist through ABRET within 5 years of hire.
- Experience preferred but will provide OTJ training.
- BLS.
