About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide transformative leadership to foster and sustain strategic partnerships between the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences- College of Nursing (CON) and clinical practice settings.
  • Serve as the operational leader of the faculty practice clinical enterprise, guiding growth, integration, and alignment with the CON’s mission, vision, and strategic goals.
  • Interface across hospital-based, ambulatory, community, and rural settings to advance the integration of evidence-based practice within nursing education and healthcare delivery.
  • Strengthen healthcare outcomes, prepare highly competent nursing professionals, and support innovative academic–practice partnerships.
  • Act as a liaison for community engagement, alumni engagement, academic-practice partnerships, and collaborative programs, seeking and evaluating internal and external partnerships with healthcare organizations, community agencies, alumni, and funding sponsors aligned with the CON’s strategic priorities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a leadership role related to community engagement, clinical operations, healthcare partnerships, or administration.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Advanced); Student Information Systems experience preferred.
  • Public speaking experience required; demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with healthcare contract negotiation and clinical operations preferred.
