About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Managing the maintenance and modification of the Building Automation System (BAS) related to the operation of HVAC equipment and the HVAC/R equipment that serve’s the medical, educational, and research facilities on the UAMS Campus
Responsible for managing maintenance and repair during non-standard business hours as well as assisting with all problems and/or emergencies relating to facility issues on the UAMS Campus
Treat others with Dignity and Respect
Communicate and share complete and unbiased information
Collaborate in policy and program development, implementation, and evaluation using best practices in delivering quality service.
Perform all duties in accordance with the UAMS Core Concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Requirements

What you’ll need

HS diploma/GED plus 10 years of HVAC Control’s experience with additional 5 years supervisory experience
Valid driver’s license with fewer than 12 points on their Motor Vehicle Record
Computer program proficiency level: Intermediate
Baccalaureate Degree with a Major in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Similar (Preferred)
Experience in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
CHFM or CHC (Preferred)
Computer program proficiency level: Advanced (Preferred)
