Diagnostic Radiology Technologist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce high-quality radiographic images for medical interpretation
- Assist in patient examinations and treatments as needed
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images
- Review and interpret health record documentation to ensure accurate identification of diagnoses and procedures
- Adhere to UAMS policies, including Core Concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma; completion of a two-year certification program or an associate degree that is accredited by the ASRT in Radiology Technology
- Three (3) years or more of experience working as a Radiology Technologist preferred
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and Licensed by the State of Arkansas in Radiology Technology
- Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and patient care protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure patient-centered care
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral instructions
- Knowledge of all required supplies and equipment necessary for each procedure
- Knowledge of the Anatomy of vessels and organs in the body (for proper positioning)
