Clinical Services Manager – Northwest Ortho

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department within the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine clinic.
- Partner with regional leadership to translate UAMS strategic priorities into everyday clinical practice.
- Maintain regulatory compliance, payer requirements, and organizational standards.
- Drive evidence-based practice and support professional growth.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional patient experiences in a fast-paced specialty clinic.
- Ensure efficient staffing, development, budgeting, patient satisfaction, professional growth, and quality outcomes.
- Implement and uphold the organization’s vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidence-based practices, and nursing support services.
- Drive continuous improvement in patient experience, safety, and clinical quality metrics.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Five (5) or more years of clinical experience in the field of Nursing
- At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership capacity
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arkansas.
- Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
- Proficient in using healthcare software and databases
- Desire to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
- Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and a commitment to delivering quality patient care
