About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the inspection, preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of a broad range of biomedical, electronic, and electromechanical devices used in patient diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring
  • Ensures that all clinical equipment meets manufacturer specifications, regulatory requirements, and hospital safety standards
  • Minimizes equipment downtime and supports uninterrupted patient care
  • Works closely with clinical staff, nursing, and other departments to maintain high standards of equipment reliability and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree in biomedical Instrumentation Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Biomedical Engineering Technology Electronics, Information Technology or related field or completion of U.S. military biomedical equipment technology program and 1 year of experience in biomed, electronic and/or mechanical repairs, IT or related fields; hospital experience preferred
  • OR HS Diploma and 3 years of experience in clinical engineering, electronic and/or mechanical repairs IT or related fields; hospital experience preferred
