About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Configure, maintain, test, and optimize Epic ClinDoc, CPOE, and related inpatient applications to support operational efficiency, clinical workflows, and regulatory compliance
  • Partner with end users, operational stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to analyze business processes, define system requirements, and implement effective workflow solutions
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the issue lifecycle
  • Monitor application performance, integrations, and security to ensure system reliability, data integrity, interoperability, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
  • Lead or support application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, testing activities, and documentation while ensuring project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, maintain required certifications, and contribute to process improvement initiatives and best practices.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma/GED plus seven (7) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two
  • Associate degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus five (5) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus three (3) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two
  • Post Graduate degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field, plus one (1) year of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two required
  • Epic ClinDoc and/or Epic CPOE certification required
  • Proficiency in Epic ClinDoc or CPOE
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
