Clinical Services Manager – Behavioral Health Service Line
University of Arkansas SystemClinical Services Manager overseeing the Behavioral Health service line at UAMS. Responsible for managing and mentoring inpatient staff to improve patient care and operations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The CSM is responsible for leading, managing and mentoring 90+ inpatient staff.
- The CSM reports to the BHSL Senior Director of Nursing and is part of a team that supports the daily operations of the BHSL Adult Inpatient Unit and the Interventional Psychiatry Hospital-Based Outpatient Department.
- The CSM identifies problems impacting patient care activities and assists in the ongoing evaluation of the unit’s goals for patient care.
- The CSM will attend meetings and participate on various BHSL and hospital committees and will be part of a team that ensures adherence to UAMS standards of patient care.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- 5 or more years of experience in the field of Nursing, with 3 years nursing management/leadership experience (recent acute psychiatry experience preferred)
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Arkansas by the State Board of Nursing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexible, ability to independently problem solve
- Must possess strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) (preferred)
- At least 5 years of nursing experience, and 3 years of nursing inpatient management/leadership experience (3 years of acute psychiatry experience)
- Scheduling for inpatient, knowledge and skill to interpret and apply clinical inpatient attendance policies
