Health Policy Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement's (ACHI’)s Health Policy team
- Conduct health policy analyses and research projects
- Support project and senior-level staff with tasks consistent with ACHI mission
- Determine sources of data and methods of collection
- Conduct policy analysis/research using source material such as journals, periodicals, historical records, legislation, and related reports
- Review research and policy information for accuracy and industry validity
- Interpret and translate findings into practical tools and products
- Advise or assist in data collection methods and sources
- Research and develop various healthcare and population health materials
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in public administration, Social Science, Finance, Health Services Administration or related field plus
- Three (3) years of experience in related field
- Strong knowledge of health policy
- Project management skills
- Research and writing skills
- Ability to work with state officials and other stakeholders
