Join the UAMS Centers on Aging as an Education Assistant Director, a key leadership role supporting the Director to advance education programs and services that support older adults, their families, and healthcare professionals across Arkansas.
Contribute to the strategic direction of the Centers on Aging by developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs tailored to diverse audiences.
Provide leadership in day-to-day operations, collaborate with regional and statewide teams, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Enhance the Center’s capacity to deliver impactful training, support families in accessing resources, and foster collaboration across healthcare and social service disciplines.
Shape programs that empower older adults and their communities while driving innovation and excellence in education and service delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field plus five (5) years of experience in a clinical and/or educational setting, administrative, finance, or related experience.
High School diploma/GED plus nine (9) years of experience in a clinical and/or educational setting, administrative, finance or related experience.
RN or Social Worker licensure (preferred)
Special knowledge in Dementia Care (preferred)
Special knowledge in Geriatrics (preferred)
Long-Term Care and/or hospice care (preferred)
Expertise in designing and delivering educational programs for diverse audiences.
Ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and align initiatives with organizational goals.
Experience overseeing budgets and securing funding through grants and other opportunities.
Skills in building relationships and engaging with communities to enhance program impact.
Proficiency in evaluating programs, providing training, and supporting staff development.
Knowledge of resources for elderly care and the ability to guide families through life transitions.
