About the role
- Join the UAMS Centers on Aging as an Education Assistant Director, a key leadership role supporting the Director to advance education programs and services that support older adults, their families, and healthcare professionals across Arkansas.
- You’ll provide leadership in day-to-day operations, collaborate with regional and statewide teams, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Your efforts will enhance the Center’s capacity to deliver impactful training, support families in accessing resources, and foster collaboration across healthcare and social service disciplines.
- Execute education program component of the Center.
- Develop and implement the various educational programs in accordance with UAMS guidelines and works with the UAMS COA’s leadership group.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field plus five (5) years of experience in a clinical and/or educational setting, administrative, finance, or related experience.
- OR High School diploma/GED plus nine (9) years of experience in a clinical and/or educational setting, administrative, finance or related experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: RN or Social Worker licensure
- Special knowledge in Dementia Care
- Special knowledge in Geriatrics Long-Term Care and/or hospice care
- Knowledge of resources for elderly care and the ability to guide families through life transitions.
