Join the UAMS Centers on Aging as an Education Assistant Director, a key leadership role supporting the Director to advance education programs and services that support older adults, their families, and healthcare professionals across Arkansas.
You’ll provide leadership in day-to-day operations, collaborate with regional and statewide teams, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Your efforts will enhance the Center’s capacity to deliver impactful training, support families in accessing resources, and foster collaboration across healthcare and social service disciplines.
Execute education program component of the Center.
Develop and implement the various educational programs in accordance with UAMS guidelines and works with the UAMS COA’s leadership group.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field plus five (5) years of experience in a clinical and/or educational setting, administrative, finance, or related experience.
OR High School diploma/GED plus nine (9) years of experience in a clinical and/or educational setting, administrative, finance or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: RN or Social Worker licensure
Special knowledge in Dementia Care
Special knowledge in Geriatrics Long-Term Care and/or hospice care
Knowledge of resources for elderly care and the ability to guide families through life transitions.
