About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple entities
  • Own fixed asset accounting, including depreciation schedules and capital tracking
  • Manage lease accounting (ASC 842), including CAM reconciliations and tenant improvement activity
  • Track and reconcile construction-in-progress and capital expenditures
  • Oversee prepaid expenses, including schedules, amortization, and reconciliation
  • Perform bank reconciliations and resolve variances
  • Review AP invoice coding and support weekly payment processing (ACH/checks)
  • Partner cross-functionally to investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting
  • Support annual audits, including preparation of schedules and auditor interaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Hands-on experience with ASC 842 lease accounting, including lease setup, monthly lease entries, remeasurements, reconciliations, CAM reconciliations, and tenant improvement accounting.
  • Strong fixed asset accounting experience, including capitalization policies, depreciation calculations, asset tracking, disposals, and construction-in-progress (CIP) accounting.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Public Accounting experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP (preferred)
  • Coupa or similar procurement system experience (a plus)
