About the role

  • Elicit and document business requirements for system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.
  • Analyze maintenance, asset, and financial data to support planning, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Act as the liaison between functional units, IT, and vendors to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Lead user acceptance testing, system configuration validation, and change management activities.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data standards to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide user support, training, and process documentation to promote effective system adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressing increasing responsibility in either a systems analyst or business analyst role.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience working with Enterprise Asset Systems as a system analyst or business analyst
  • Business Analysis Certification would be an asset (CBAP)
  • Previous experience in software development and data warehouse development would be an asset
  • Proficiency in gathering, documenting, and managing requirements from stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize business processes, with a focus on asset management workflows.
  • Competence in analyzing data related to asset management, including data modelling and data quality assurance.
  • Understanding of asset lifecycle management and industry-specific requirements.
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to identify and engage with key stakeholders, including both internal and external departments, faculties, IT professionals, and senior management.
  • Ability to manage organizational change associated with EAM system implementations.
