About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join the READY RURAL team and provide leadership for simulation strategy, academic assessment, technology integration, faculty development, and competency-based evaluation
  • Align simulation experiences with curricular outcomes, professional competencies, accreditation standards, workforce needs, and grant objectives
  • Shape and coordinate simulation initiatives
  • Oversee assessment and quality assurance processes
  • Support technology-enabled learning
  • Provide consultation and professional development for simulation-based education
  • Coordinate simulation operations, including lab and Virtual Care scheduling, equipment readiness, and technology integration
  • Support innovative teaching, competency tracking, learner assessment, and outcomes reporting
  • Collect and analyze data for grant reporting, accreditation, continuous quality improvement, and workforce readiness initiatives
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate data collection initiatives and maintain management and collection resources
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and analyze data and prepare reports
  • Continuously improve assessment instrument development methods and processes
  • Manage complex databases and analyze large data sets
  • Provide operational guidance on new or revised institutional policies and procedures for learning and programmatic assessment
  • May exercise supervisory authority over at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Education, Assessment, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Technology, Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or related field
  • Experience coordinating academic programs, assessment activities, simulation programs, curriculum initiatives, or teaching and learning support services
  • Experience supporting assessment planning, data collection, reporting, accreditation, program review, or quality improvement activities
  • Experience working collaboratively with faculty, academic programs, staff, and internal or external stakeholders
  • Strong communication, consultation, organization, and analytical skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term
  • Final candidates must provide contact information for three references, including at least one manager or supervisor
  • Successful candidates are subject to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check, work authorization, and education verification
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field
  • Preferred: Experience in healthcare simulation, Virtual Care, telehealth education, interprofessional education, or competency-based education
  • Preferred: Experience with accreditation processes in nursing, health professions, healthcare simulation, or higher education
  • Preferred: Experience using assessment management systems, learning management systems, simulation management systems, dashboards, or data visualization tools
  • Preferred: Simulation certification or relevant training such as CHSE, CHSOS, or equivalent experience
