About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives
  • Formulate system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding
  • Analyze business and user needs to design, develop, and support reports, workflows, and collaboration solutions
  • Partner with campus departments and stakeholders to apply reporting, workflow automation, and AI-enabled tools
  • Collect, analyze, and translate requirements into functional specifications
  • Develop, test, document, and maintain reports, workflows, integrations, and related enterprise solutions
  • Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and user training for reporting, workflow, and AI-related tools
  • Evaluate, pilot, and support AI technologies and emerging tools for teaching, learning, and administrative functions
  • Support system performance, data integrity, and security
  • Participate in process improvement, change management, and professional development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience performing business analysis, gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting system implementations
  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, or enterprise systems in a professional environment
  • Basic knowledge of business process improvement methodologies and ability to analyze and document workflows
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, provide user support, and contribute to system documentation and training
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Preferred: experience with Tableau or similar data visualization platforms
  • Preferred: experience with BP Logix, DocFinity, or comparable workflow automation tools
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI tools, prompt engineering, workflow integration, or AI governance
  • Preferred: experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Preferred: knowledge of data structures, data governance, and data security practices
  • Preferred: experience with process improvement and change management
  • Preferred: experience in higher education or a similarly complex environment
  • Preferred: experience providing user training, documentation, and technical support for enterprise systems
