About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides visionary leadership for the Phuture Phoenix pre-college program
- Oversees program design, instruction, policy and procedure development, daily operations, budgeting and scholarships, staff supervision, and campus visit coordination
- Teaches pre-requisite courses in Professional Program in Education to prepare Phuture Phoenix tutors and mentors
- Manages field placements and plans campus visits
- Builds meaningful partnerships that strengthen pre-college pathways and prepare students for higher education endeavors
- Develops and evaluates educational pre-college program content and materials
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Education or related field
- 5 years successful teaching experience, educational administration, or education program management
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in current issues and trends in education
- Excellent teaching skills
- Knowledge of event planning, public relations, fundraising, and budget management
- Bilingual competency in Spanish, Hmong, Oneida, or Somali is preferred
