About the role
- Plans, develops, and executes strategic recruitment and admissions efforts aligned with institutional priorities
- Serves as an ambassador for UW–Green Bay to build relationships with prospective and admitted students, families, schools, and community partners
- Uses data-informed strategies and CRM tools to recruit, counsel, and support students through the admissions journey
- May lead initiatives or supervise staff
- Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences
- Counsels prospective and admitted students on educational planning and career opportunities
- Engages in extensive outreach and recruitment events
- Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
- Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications according to established policies and procedures
- Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
- Identifies and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission
- Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution
- Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree by start date
- Experience in admissions, customer service, or related field
- Professional experience in K-12 or post-secondary education (preferred)
- Proficiency in speaking and reading in a second language, preferably Spanish, Hmong, Oneida, or Somali (preferred)
- Experience with software systems such as Peoplesoft, Salesforce, ImageNow that support Admissions processes (preferred)
- Travel to Southeastern Wisconsin High Schools, fairs and other institutions will be necessary
- A combination of daytime, evening, and weekend advising hours will be required to meet the needs of the program and its students
- Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term
