About the role
- Supports UW–Green Bay’s mission to expand access to high-quality, lifelong learning across Northeast Wisconsin.
- Helps advance the University’s strategic priorities by ensuring professional development programs, trainings, and events are delivered smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong focus on service.
- Provides essential administrative, financial, and operational support, including managing registrations, processing financial transactions, coordinating instructors, supporting program logistics, and delivering excellent customer service.
- Develops, sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures.
- Develops, implements, and maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures.
- Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for individuals and groups, provides organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums.
- Prepares and audits complex records, edits documents, and reviews work done by others.
Requirements
- Associate's degree
- 1 year of professional experience
- Strong written communication and administrative skills with a high level of detail
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- High level of computer proficiency and ability to use database, spreadsheet, web conference, presentation, and word processing software applications
- Ability to work effectively as a team and independently in a high-volume work setting
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to complete projects
- A valid Wisconsin driver’s license and a working vehicle to travel and ability to obtain driver authorization through the University
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- 2 years of professional experience (Preferred)
- Experience in working with adult learners (Preferred)
- Experience in higher education or training and development (Preferred)
