About the role
- Independently perform classic secretarial duties (appointment management and coordination of meetings, travel planning and travel expense reporting, correspondence in German and English)
- Support the director with administrative tasks; preparation of committees, meetings and conferences
- Professional communication with referring physicians, patients, relatives and other medical professionals
- Preparation of billing for private patients
- Communication with the administrative departments of the university hospital and the University of Augsburg
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a secretary, medical assistant, office administrator or an equivalent qualification
- Confident use of Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong German language skills, written and spoken; English language skills, written and spoken, are additionally desirable
- Interest in the clinical conditions treated by the I. Medical Clinic
- Knowledge of medical administration as well as budgeting and human resources is an advantage
- Discretion and trustworthiness, strong organisational skills, ability to work independently, a structured and reliable working style and the ability to work in a team are required
