About the role

  • You develop and take the lead in implementing marketing strategies
  • You manage your campaigns using data-driven approaches
  • Responsible for independent project and budget management as well as for the development, execution and monitoring of marketing, PR and social media concepts
  • Develop cross-channel content marketing strategies for Universal Music’s owned media channels
  • You coordinate agencies to implement initiatives and ensure their delivery
  • You provide editorial support for campaigns across the relevant channels
  • Work in very close collaboration with Promotion Managers, Editorial Streaming Managers, LABSxSTUDIOS and Content & Creation Managers

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a university degree with a focus on marketing
  • At least one year of experience in product marketing at a music or media company
  • Music and marketing expert/enthusiast who feels at home in international pop and hip‑hop culture, and in clubs, concerts and festivals
  • Very good understanding of digital/online marketing and promotion, digital media planning, KPIs, as well as owned, earned and paid media and integrated communications strategies
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to actively drive creative processes
  • Experience using streaming platforms and understanding their mechanisms
  • Negotiation-level German (C2) and advanced English (C1), both written and spoken
