About the role

  • You lead, manage and develop the in-house video production team
  • You are the disciplinary and functional line manager for the Studio Manager(s) and, together with your team, are responsible for studio operations
  • You work as an Executive Producer on the development of new formats and on the further development of existing shows and content formats (brands, music videos, social media content)
  • You are responsible for planning, controlling and monitoring production budgets and ensure economically sensible implementation
  • You ensure that all video productions are delivered with high quality, on-brand and on schedule
  • You support teams in your role as Head of Video Production and act as the central in-house contact for all production matters
  • You coordinate internal stakeholders and external service providers and ensure clear processes and responsibilities
  • You continuously develop and optimize production processes, workflows and quality standards
  • You ensure close integration of studio, production and digital creator operations

Requirements

  • You have a degree, vocational training or several years of relevant professional experience in video and content production — ideally in a senior role (e.g. Producer, Head of Production or equivalent)
  • You have a deep understanding of video production, content strategies and modern creator workflows
  • You bring leadership experience and know how to motivate, structure and develop teams
  • You think strategically and commercially and keep budgets, timelines and resources in view
  • You have a strong quality awareness and high editorial as well as technical standards
  • You have excellent language skills in German and English
