About the role

  • You will get a varied introduction to the music industry and gain insight into the processes and workflows of a major label
  • You will learn how marketing campaigns are planned, executed and evaluated, how artists are discovered and successfully positioned, and how to attract and retain fans long-term
  • You will support the release of music products, communicate with artists, management and partners, and keep the team updated on project status
  • You will maintain systems and track and analyze data in collaboration with various departments
  • You will create target-group-oriented copy, presentations and social-media content, and edit photos, graphics and videos (e.g., for competitions and video premieres)
  • You will also organize and coordinate travel, video shoots, photoshoots, events and showcases
  • During your training you will also gain insights into key adjacent departments such as Promotion, our in-house agency Marketing Labs, Sales and Finance

Requirements

  • By summer 2026 you will have successfully completed a secondary school leaving certificate (Mittlerer Schulabschluss), a technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife), or the Abitur (general university entrance qualification).
  • You are at least 18 years old at the start of the apprenticeship, as evening work or business travel may occur
  • You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office and learn new tools quickly
  • You are passionate about German-language music — from German rap to indie pop — and are well acquainted with the main social media channels
  • You are self-motivated, proactive and keep an overview in stressful situations
  • You enjoy working in a team and can work well with a variety of people
