About the role

  • Shape digital infrastructure: You develop and maintain core system components, services and tools for UCS and Nubus, with a focus on automation, security and integration
  • Connect cloud environments: You integrate Nubus into containerized and Kubernetes-based environments and work on interfaces and APIs, for example SCIM
  • Automate processes: You build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and ArgoCD, optimize deployments with Helm and support our customers in operating complex system landscapes reliably
  • Share knowledge: You work closely with development and your team and contribute your expertise

Requirements

  • Technical foundation: You have several years of experience as a System Engineer or DevOps Engineer with a focus on Linux, containerization and Kubernetes
  • Automation mindset: You are proficient with tools like Docker, Helm, Terraform or openTofu and have experience with CI/CD workflows
  • Code literate: You bring programming skills in Python or Bash and are familiar with REST APIs
  • Secure systems: You understand directory services and authentication mechanisms such as LDAP, Kerberos or Keycloak
  • Cloud competence: You have experience with cloud and hybrid environments, for example StackIT, AWS, Azure or OpenStack
  • Team player: You work in a structured, self-directed way and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others
  • Advantageous: Experience with Nubus or similar open-source identity and access management solutions
  • Understanding of security aspects (SBOM/VEX, BSI IT-Grundschutz)
  • Interest in open source and modern architectures
