About the role
- Reviewing and processing incoming firewall requests
- Regularly controlling service provider tasks with a firewall focus
- Evaluating and reporting the status of firewall requests
- Advising asset/object managers on in-house request submissions
- Assisting with the revalidation of firewall configurations
- Ensuring the consistent implementation of security policies and protecting critical systems
Requirements
- Degree or vocational training with an IT focus
- Practical experience in network communication and network segmentation
- Good knowledge of common network technologies, protocols, network connections, and firewalls
- Excellent Excel skills, particularly in analysis and using pivot tables
- Team-oriented working style and strong communication skills
- At least business-fluent German (spoken and written)
