- Ensure administrative tasks are completed satisfactorily
- Conduct yearly appraisals
- Authorise annual leave requests
- Manage sickness processes
- Ensure invoices are processed within agreed timescales
- Support and maintain a good relationship between departmental personnel
- Liaise with business teams
- Recommend ways to improve profitability and operating effectiveness
- Ensure effective control of stock
- Assist in recruiting and selecting suitable staff
- Ensure appropriate induction training for new personnel
- Regularly review staff performance against objectives
- Identify and implement staff training requirements
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints
- Report accidents and incidents
