About the role
- Conduct detailed reviews of exams to evaluate clarity, alignment to outcomes, and appropriate level of difficulty.
- Ensure each assessment fits within the scope and sequence of the program.
- Maintain version control and documentation of all exam revisions.
- Perform psychometric analysis on exam items (e.g., difficulty index, discrimination index, KR-20).
- Identify trends across cohorts, courses, and outcomes to guide data-informed academic decision-making.
- Aggregate Reporting & Benchmarking: Build and maintain dashboards and regular reports summarizing exam performance and category-level analytics.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to Academics and leadership.
- Partner with Academics and instructional designers to revise, replace, or create high-quality exam questions.
- Support item writing best practices and foster a positive, feedback-rich exam development culture.
- Monitor exam delivery protocols and collaborate on best practices for test security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Educational Measurement, Instructional Design, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in academic assessment, instructional evaluation, or exam quality assurance, minimum 5 years of experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of assessment design, learning outcome alignment, and psychometric analysis.
- Experience with LMS platforms and assessment analytics.
