💰 $115,000 - $135,000 per year

About the role

  • Support and oversee monthly close and year-end close processes across multiple legal entities while coordinating with external CPAs.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Maintain and improve chart of accounts
  • Support nonprofit accounting considerations, including restricted funds, compliance reporting, and financial presentation, as applicable
  • Monitor and manage daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts and entities
  • Assist with cash forecasting
  • Coordinate banking activity including wires, ACHs, lockboxes, reconciliations, etc.
  • Support treasury controls, approvals, and documentation
  • Support accounts payable team and process
  • Assist with post-acquisition accounting integration, including opening balance sheets
  • Help integrate acquired entities into existing accounting, banking, and reporting systems
  • Coordinate with legal, tax, operational, and external advisors during and after transactions
  • Serve as a finance partner to RCM leadership and third-party vendors
  • Help bridge data between RCM systems and the general ledger
  • Provide ad hoc analytical and financial support during RCM transitions or process improvements
  • Assist with annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
  • Prepare management reporting packages for leadership
  • Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, margins, and cash flow
  • Support ad hoc financial modeling and strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred (Big 4 or regional firm)
  • Knowledge of nonprofit accounting and reporting preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, multi-entity, or acquisitive environments is a plus
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial controls
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with modern accounting systems preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
