About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop customized, multi-dimensional engagement strategies for corporate partners that integrate employee giving campaigns, corporate grants, sponsorships, matching gift programs, and volunteer engagement.
  • Identify and cultivate new corporate partners aligned with the organization’s mission, programs, and funding priorities.
  • Leverage corporate partnerships to connect employees directly to programs and community impact opportunities, strengthening the connection between corporate engagement and mission outcomes.
  • Manage corporate sponsorship strategy for signature events and initiatives while aligning corporate partnerships with broader fundraising and program priorities.
  • Design and lead high-impact workplace giving campaigns with corporate partners to drive employee participation and revenue growth.
  • Advise corporate leaders and employee resource groups on best practices to increase participation rates and average gift size.
  • Develop toolkits, messaging frameworks, and engagement moments that inspire employee involvement and advocacy.
  • Work with the Partner Engagement team to integrate workplace ambassador and champion programs that drive participation and internal momentum within companies.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of corporate partners and institutional funders.
  • Cultivate relationships with corporate executives, CSR leaders, HR teams, employee resource groups, and other key stakeholders to secure and expand strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and execute strategies to retain, upgrade, and reactivate corporate and workplace giving partners while identifying opportunities for new partner acquisition.
  • Pursue unique opportunities for six and seven figure contributions from top institutional partners.
  • Supervise and mentor institutional giving staff, providing coaching, goal setting, and performance management.
  • Establish clear fundraising processes, metrics, and accountability systems to drive performance across institutional and corporate giving programs.
  • Partner closely with marketing and communications, community impact, finance, and volunteer engagement teams to deliver compelling partner experiences and engagement opportunities.
  • Use data insights to refine fundraising strategies and improve campaign outcomes while contributing to broader corporate revenue planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supervising and developing direct reports required.
  • Must have experience developing and managing workplace giving campaigns, corporate partnerships, sponsorships, corporate philanthropy programs, or institutional fundraising initiatives.
  • You enjoy a hybrid environment that includes both in-person and remote work styles and are able to work from our DTLA office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • You are comfortable making the ask and confidently leading fundraising conversations.
  • You are a strategic relationship builder who can engage and influence stakeholders ranging from frontline employees to senior executives.
  • You are accountable for results and have a track record of setting ambitious goals, developing strategies to achieve them, and consistently delivering outcomes.
  • You understand the value of racial equity as an organizational operating principle and are committed to continued learning on issues related to race, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
