About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide ongoing consultation and coaching to teachers in partner child development centers (CDCs)
Support center directors to develop teacher support systems and skills
Work closely with the Director, Pre-K Innovation Partnership to identify program needs
Develop and execute an instructional support plan for PKP teachers and their students
Assist with curriculum and assessment support, coaching on evidence-based instructional strategies
Coordinate with community organizations to deliver quality training and resources to partner CDCs
Develop coaching cycles and professional learning opportunities that meet center needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
EC-6 Texas Teaching Certification required
At least 3-4 years of early childhood classroom teaching experience
At least 2 years of experience in instructional coaching
Experience working in child development centers preferred
Familiarity with Teaching Strategies GOLD, CLASS, high-quality curricula, and frameworks
An ability to organize and conduct trainings effectively
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
