About the role

  • Organize an event from a-z;
  • Write invitations, devise social media posts, set up campaigns and ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day of;
  • Research online platforms and come up with recommendations;
  • Writing and social skills are instrumental, but you are above all a coordinator in heart and soul.
  • Assist in the delivery of DEPT® events. From vendor coordination and on-site setup to guest registration and post-event wrap-ups;
  • Help with Event communication efforts, inbox management, landing page creation, and reconciling event budgets when making event related purchases;
  • Sometimes working outside of regular 9-5, when internal event management support is needed;

Requirements

  • Have an affinity with project management, communication, and event planning;
  • A strong interest in project management, communications, and event planning;
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Comfortable working in a structured and analytical way, with strong attention to detail;
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset and willingness to adapt to different challenges;
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, especially Google Slides and Google Sheets;
  • Currently studying in a field such as Marketing, Communications, or Commercial Economics;
  • Someone ready to creatively problem solve on the spot, and have fun while doing it
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
