About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support admissions, discharges, patient education, virtual rounding, clinical surveillance, and care coordination
- Partner with bedside teams across Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
- Support cardiac telemetry patients initially, with future expansion to surgical, neurological, medical, and oncology populations
- Improve the patient experience and patient outcomes through virtual nursing care
- Mentor and support nursing colleagues across the organization
- Apply advanced technology, clinical judgment, collaboration, communication, and clinical decision-making in inpatient care
Requirements
What you’ll need- RN licensed in New York State
- Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience
- Recent acute care clinical experience
- Current NYS RN license
- National certification in acute care
- BLS certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Preferred: 5 years of acute care experience
- Preferred: Charge nurse experience
- Preferred: Preceptor experience
- Part-time schedule of 36 hours per week
- Day-rotational schedule with 12-hour shifts
- Work every third weekend
