About the role
- Provides high-level administrative and operational support to Nursing Administration leadership
- Coordinates communications, schedules meetings and manages complex calendars
- Prepares agendas, meeting materials, presentations, and reports
- Maintains organized electronic and paper filing systems
- Provides administrative support for nursing committees, councils, and special projects
- Assists with preparation and tracking of reports, metrics, statistics, and data required by Nursing Administration
- Supports department operations by coordinating office supplies, equipment, subscriptions, and inventory control
- Interfaces with internal departments to facilitate nursing administrative needs
- Assists with onboarding coordination for new nursing leaders and administrative staff
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment
- Supports compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in administrative support or related field
- minimum of three (3) years’ experience at an Executive Management level providing administrative support
- Preferred: Five (5) years of experience working at an Executive Management level, or Bachelor’s degree in related field, i.e., Healthcare Administration, Communications
- Previous hospital experience
- Previous administrative experience
