About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide franchisees with industry training and support in the assigned region while driving profitability
  • Build, drive, and implement a strong catering program for franchisees
  • Implement the franchisee store startup program
  • Maximize restaurant profits through business performance and P&L reviews, training, and store operation evaluations
  • Oversee operations of multiple restaurants
  • Develop sales strategies and business development plans
  • Collaborate with marketing on local active and digital campaigns
  • Analyze KPIs and analytics
  • Train and reinforce the franchise model, system, and best practices
  • Guide, train, and manage hourly employees, management, and supervisors
  • Ensure branches follow safety, health, business laws, regulations, and essential equipment procedures
  • Compile brand compliance data and help franchisees upgrade their image
  • Uphold brand standards, service excellence, and quality performance
  • Organize and implement franchisee training programs to increase regional brand awareness
  • Participate in regional meetings and complete, maintain, and process required paperwork, records, and daily reports
  • Consult with franchisees to identify needs or problem areas and determine investigation scope for solutions
  • Advise the Brand Leader on issues identified through franchisee communication
  • Follow up with franchisees weekly or bi-weekly
  • Maintain a daily and weekly schedule in Microsoft Outlook at least two weeks in advance
  • Build and follow instructions for new location setups
  • Take initiative to advance programs benefiting the brand and franchisees
  • Travel 50–75% in and outside the region

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.B.A., or B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university; or Associate's degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong working knowledge of Internet Explorer or Google Chrome
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems and scheduling software
  • Point-of-sale (POS) software and accounting software knowledge is a plus
  • Eligible driver's license and valid automobile insurance required
  • Credit card with available credit limit to cover expenses
  • Strong background in the related industry and specific production techniques
  • Sales and business operations experience
  • Ability to read a profit and loss statement
  • Restaurant experience required
  • Willingness to travel 50–75% and as needed for tradeshows, regional meetings, and other assigned meetings
