About the role
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive aftermarket sales strategy to achieve company sales targets and enhance market penetration
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Address customer concerns and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the aftermarket sector.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, analyze sales performance metrics, and develop action plans to improve results.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's aftermarket products and services. Collaborate with the product development team to align offerings with customer needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Budget Management: Oversee the aftermarket sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum return on investment.
Requirements
- Sales experience preferred
- Water/wastewater experience required
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in a regional market.
- Strong understanding of aftermarket sales processes and tools, including CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)
