Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for efficiently processing various types of accounts payable transactions in accordance with the Accounts Payable Policies
- Meet processing quantity and quality objectives as set by the AP Manager
- Prepare payment batches as needed
- Maintain an understanding of internal controls and their importance for the position
- Maintain and update substantial Accounting files, documents, records, and reports as needed
- Assist with ad hoc reporting requests as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates degree in Accounting or related field
- 2 years of experience in Accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable processing
- Strong organizational, analytical, and recording skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
